Monochromatic

There's a challenge over at Star Stampz,
the theme Monochromatic

I figured I could jump in on that one.

Here's my make:

The image is called: Anna in Timeout by Mo Manning.
It's coloured with black and white colour pencils

The paper has a granite grey texture

The flowers are made out of the granite paper and for the swirls and frame
 I've used black cardstock

So here are the rules:
1. A pocket or hidden compartment
2.. a surprise in the hidden compartment or pocket
3. Use a St dennis digi that is NOT designed to be a valentine or Easter motif
4.Use 3 different embellies (flowers, feathers, jewels, pearls, brads, braid etc)
5. Include a famous quote on your project
6. Must be hand done no digital composites sorry....

I had so much fun craftin this project.
I used two images
BIRFDAY DRAGON  & Frost Dragon Birthday

Here's the front, I embellished two paperclips with butterflies en added a charm to one of them.
The paperclips will keep the card closed and added pearl flatbacks as embellies

This is what you see when you open the left side of the card
Here I've added a rhinestone above and below Happy Easter

 Both sides opened

Close up quote

As a surprise in the pocket, I've made a little tag

Here's the overview of everything

The Scrapoholic Candy Shop - Wild West

Good morning everyone,
Happy Valentines day!!!!!!

Today's post has nothing to do with valentines though :P
I've made a set of 4 ATC's, using the Wild West set from The Scrapoholic Candy Shop.

You can find the set HERE

Here are my ATC's

I've coloured the images with my Albrecht Durer pencils.
This was the first time I used these pencils on aquarel paper with a waterbrush.
Unfortunately, I feel it didn't work out so well.
I've used these pencils before, but on parchment paper and I enjoyed colouring on that, way more.
I'm deffo goin back to my distress inks and twinks.

For the backgrounds, I've used gelato's and for the little horsie background I used Neo Color II.
For the stars, I've used a stencil and Inka Gold - Gold.
I've also used Wink of Stella - Clear to give the images a few accents, unfortunately, it's not visible on the photo
